What If Jesus Had A Better Idea?
Look around. There’s the suffering nobody chose: illness, loss, disaster, all the hard things that come with being alive. And there’s the suffering we make: the competing, controlling, and hurting that comes from our desperate need to prove we matter.
Here’s what we rarely notice: they’re connected. The energy we pour into proving we’re enough is energy we don’t have for anyone else, whether it’s the people we love or the ones walking through what they never asked for.
And there’s no shortage of voices selling us the answer. Follow this leader. Join this tribe. Build this platform. Believe harder. Then you’ll belong. Every one of them keeps the race going.
With churches often selling the same thing, it’s fair to wonder what difference faith can make.
But Jesus went after the root: our need to prove we’re enough. He revealed a Father whose love was never on the line, a God we already belong to, with nothing left to prove.
And he put that grace around ordinary tables. Because hearing that you belong doesn't undo a lifetime of believing otherwise. You learn to trust it by being honest, being wrong, and discovering that people still stay.
That’s where people stop proving. The voices lose their grip, because there’s nothing left to buy. And the energy they poured into being enough comes back, free for the people they love and the ones walking through what they never asked for.
Which is why we’re putting the grace Jesus revealed back around tables. Through podcasts, free resources, and live gatherings, we’re helping people see the Father through Jesus’ eyes and start conversations where they learn to trust him together.
Your generosity keeps it free and carries this way of life to more people, in more places.
Because people who have nothing to prove have a lot to give.
