Everyone Needs…

A friend they shouldn’t be allowed to sit next to at serious functions. Lark exists to help you be that friend.

But seriously…

Religion is everywhere. Friends who are free to pass on relief instead of religion—are rare.

That’s where you come in as someone who has the time to welcome people’s story—without condemnation, and help them see Jesus for who he is—without expectations.

If becoming the friend who helps people find relief is your desire, we have over two decades of experience behind helping you do so.

What about the Church?

Due to the popularity of what has been labeled “church,” the invitation to spend your time being a friend who helps others live free can feel…questionable.

That’s why it’s good to know the Church is defined in Scripture as a movement of frail people who are learning to trust Jesus. In short, it’s who you are, not somewhere you go.

It’s also helpful to know the Church gathered is described in Scripture as “unnamed conversations” among two or more people; conversations where grace is unwavering and the faith is unhurried.

The truth is, there is nothing as formative as the celebration of the free around tables and scandalous conversations along the way. The key is trusting Jesus enough to let it be that simple.

“We always knew there was more to the story of “church” than what we were handed. We just never had language for it until we met Lark.”
